Talk Title: “Developing CIMS for atmospheric chemistry field measurements: Targeted quantitative and non-targeted qualitative analysis of reactive trace gases”

Speaker
Delphine FarmerDr. Delphine K. Farmer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University. She received a Bachelor’s of Science (BSc) from McGill University in Honours Chemistry with Great Distinction, and a Master’s of Science (MS) in Environmental Science, Policy and Management and her PhD in Chemistry from the University of California Berkeley. She trained as a postdoctoral fellow and subsequently research scientist at the University of Colorado Boulder with a NOAA Climate and Global Change Postdoctoral Fellowship. She received the Hermann Frasch Foundation Award (2012) and the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Young Investigator Award (2013). Throughout her career, Dr. Farmer has worked on instrument development for trace gas and particle measurement in atmospheric chemistry with a particular focus on understanding the role of biosphere-atmosphere exchange on air pollution and climate.
